Transportation

​​​M-GSD bus routes include all grade levels. Generally, younger students are seated towards the front of the bus.

• Students must ride their appropriately assigned buses to and from school. 
• Due to bus capacity limits, the district does not allow students to ride a bus for which they are not assigned regardless of parental consent.
• Your student's bus assignment can be found on the "Busing" tab in Skyward.
• For KG- 2nd grade students, an adult must be present at drop off for the student to be released.

Bus Information & Procedures

• One (1) car rider placard will be assigned to each household at the time of enrollment.
• If a parent/guardian does not have a placard, they must present a valid, state issued photo ID.
• If someone other than the parent/guardian is picking the student up, the elementary office must be notified no later than 1:30 PM. 
• All pick up drivers must be listed in Skyward as authorized for pick up.

MGSD Car Rider Procedures

The Elementary Office must be notified of any changes to your student's transportation no later than 1:30 PM daily. You MUST submit an email to MEStransportation@m-gsd.org even if you previously notified the teacher. This email will go directly to the MES office. The change will be verified by the front office, and a transportation pass will be delivered to your student to notify them and the homeroom teacher of the change. Thank you for your understanding.
